The 3rd Munich DachshundRace is in the starting blocks! On October 11 and 12, 2025 It’s time to cast off again and get on your paws – the dachshunds are ready to take off. The fast-paced race takes place over a

Saturday
Participants: Dachshunds up to 8 kilos, Dachshund mixes & inclusion
Qualification: 10:00 – 14:00
KO rounds: 13:00 – 16:00
Award ceremonies: 17:00
Minor changes and delays in the schedule are possible, especially in the event of last-minute cancellations (e.g. due to illness of a participant). We ask for your understanding.
Sunday
Participants: Dachshunds from 8 kilos
Qualifications: 10:00 – 10:50 a.m.
KO rounds: 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Award ceremonies: 4:30 p.m.
Participation fee
The participation fee is 55 euros per dog. A racing team consists of 1 dog and 2 people (owner at the start, receiver at the finish).
Included
- Participation in the DackelRace (incl. goodie bag and certificate of participation)
- Bavarian neckerchief (chip carrier in the race) may be kept.
- Incl. parking fee on race day and at the dachshund weigh-in
Conditions of participation
- Maximum 120 participating dachshunds
- Maximum weight: approx. 15 kilograms
- Unfortunately, bitches in heat are not allowed to participate.
- Participation fees already paid cannot be refunded if the participant is unable to attend.

- Rabbit Dachshund & Miniature Dachshund (according to FCI standard)
- Standard Dachshund (according to FCI standard)
- American Miniature Dachshund (according to AKC standard)
- Dachshund mixes
- Dachshunds with a handicap (e.g. wheelchair, blindness)

- Up to 7.9 kg

Timekeeping
Timekeeping is carried out using the latest technology – tracking chip for maximum accuracy and finish camera. A security deposit in cash must be paid for the chip. At the end of the race, the money deposited will be paid out when the chip is returned.
