On the site of the former Henning Schmiedetechnik, Motorworld Village Metzingen is a lively place with a unique industrial-historical charm. In the future, the 26,000 sqm site will combine attractive event/conference areas, gastronomy and a Motorworld V8 Hotel with workshops, showrooms and services on the subject of mobility. To this end, the eleven listed buildings are being carefully renovated step by step and revitalized as an overall ensemble.
The imposing Schmiededom, which can accommodate up to 2,300 visitors as an event location, and several other buildings have already been completed and are in operation as event spaces. Furthermore, the first tenants with great uses have already settled at the location.
Motorworld Village Metzingen is located just a 25-minute drive from the gates of Stuttgart on the edge of the Swabian Alb in the immediate vicinity of the internationally renowned outlet city of Metzingen, right at the entrance to the city.

Friedrich Henning and Karl Laib lived by the motto “Keeping up with the times”. Motorworld Village Metzingen und Stadt Metzingen küren Gewinner:innen des Streetart-Wettbewerbs
Das Motorworld Village Metzingen hatte im Frühjahr dieses Jahres in Kooperation mit der Stadt Metzingen einen Streetart-Wettbewerb für Nachwuchstalente ausgelobt.
Der Kreativität bei der Gestaltung von mehreren Hochseecontainern, die auf dem Gelände als Schallschutz dienen, war dabei keine Grenzen gesetzt.
Einzig das Thema „Mobility meets Event“ war fix.
