The historical and centrally situated location in the Freimann district of Munich can look back on a fascinating history. As long as 100 years ago, the theme of mobility played an important role on this site covering around 75,000 square metres. Since the 1920s, thousands of locomotives have been serviced and repaired in the former railway repair shop. Today, various buildings on the site are listed as historical monuments, among them the huge locomotive hall, the over 40-metre-high water tower, and the former boiler forge, which is now the Zenith event hall.
