Young classic car drivers wanted
“Concours de Nonchalance” celebrates its premiere

Motorworld Classics Berlin invites young classic car drivers to the inaugural “Concours de Nonchalance”. Drivers who, together with their car, have a maximum age of 60 years (whereby the vehicle must be at least 20 years old) can apply to take part.

The “Concours de Nonchalance” will take place on October 6, 2018, at Motorworld Classics Berlin. Applications with a photograph of the car together with its date of first registration and the driver’s date of birth can be sent up until September 9, 2018, to cdn@motorworld.de. A jury will then select the participants who will be able to show their vehicles on October 6. The award ceremony for the winning cars will take place in the late afternoon. The promotional partner is Autobild Klassik.

“The Concours de Nonchalance is the counterpart to the Concours d’Élegance. With this event, we offer a platform for young drivers and their classics-to-be a stage, and we would like to dispel the myth that classic cars are only a hobby for the well-to-do,” explains Ulf Schulz, project manager of Motorworld Classics Berlin. “We’re looking forward to many young petrolheads with all kinds of vehicles.”

Motorworld Classics Berlin will be taking place on October 4-7, 2018, in the historic halls and summer garden of Berlin’s ExpoCenter. With programme events such as the “Concours de Nonchalance”, artistes, and a large sprinkling of lifestyle, this charming classic car fair is much more than just a car show with exhibits from years gone by. The international event, which is designed in the style of the 1920s to the 1950s, is becoming an increasingly popular lifestyle happening in Germany’s capital city.
